Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi White Cement Company's CEO Shoail Jarallah Al Ayed said that the company intends to raise its production capacity from 320,000 tonnes to 945,000 tonnes per annum.

The increase will seek to fulfill the current need of 800,000 tonnes per year, where the company's factory is the one and only in the Kingdom for white cement production, adding that around 500,000 tonnes are being imported, the CEO added.

Al Ayed noted that the firm's plan to increase its production comes in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 to saudise industry, saying that imports are still available as per specified rules.
